What:

Victorians want to help refugees. They also love cool decor items and amazing deals. Victoria
Immigrant and Refugee Centre is arranging a week long gift shop selling beautiful curios and
handmade art items from southeast Asia. All funds (100%) of proceeds will go towards helping
refugees. The shop will have lots of information about how to sponsor and support refugees
trying to find asylum in Victoria.

DOWNTOWN VICTORIA, November 14- 21, 2015 — VIRCS establishes the first ever home
decor pop-up store to raise funds for refugees a great way to buy some lovely Christmas gifts
while helping refugees in crisis.

The store will feature handmade crafts, decor, mystical figurines and exciting treasures from
afar. Everyone wants to help and has sympathy for refugees who are fleeing turmoil, not
everyone can sponsor people coming to Canada, but everyone can buy a cute gift for a friend and
coincidentally, donate to a larger cause.
